Eline Willemarck woont en werkt in Antwerpen. Ze studeerde af in de Beeldende Kunsten – Juweelontwerp – aan Sint Lucas University of Art & Design (2010), vervolmaakte haar opleiding aan de Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam (2013) en behaalde in 2014 een master aan Sint Lucas Antwerpen, waar ze genomineerd werd voor de Lucas Award.
Haar werk beweegt zich op het snijvlak van diverse disciplines. Willemarck creëert installaties, objecten, foto's en filmische werken die vertrekken vanuit een onderzoek naar menselijke gewoonten en percepties. Ze vindt inspiratie in het alledaagse. Thema’s als leven en dood, kwetsbaarheid, bescherming, vergankelijkheid, herinnering en de tastbaarheid van het verleden vormen de kern van haar artistieke praktijk. Ze onderzoekt hoe deze elementen nieuwe vormen en betekenissen kunnen aannemen.
Naast haar autonome praktijk werkt Willemarck als freelance rekwisiteur, kostuumontwerper, setdesigner en scenografe. Ze werkte reeds nauw samen met curatoren, regisseurs, scenografen en theatermakers, waaronder Christopher Waltz, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui / Eastman, Lucy McRae, Ontroerend Goed, Bruna Hautman en Theater Arsenaal. Tussen 2020 en 2024 was ze als gastprofessor verbonden aan de afdelingen Sieradenontwerp van Sint Lucas Antwerpen en de Koninklijke Academie voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen.
Haar uitgebreide materiaalkennis en interdisciplinaire ervaring met productieprocessen vormen de solide basis van een veelzijdige praktijk waarin concept en uitvoering naadloos samenkomen – zowel in artistieke als toegepaste context.

Eline Willemarck lives and works in Antwerp. She graduated in Fine Arts - Jewellery Design - from Sint Lucas University of Art & Design (2010), completed her education at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (2013) and obtained a master's degree at Sint Lucas Antwerp in 2014, where she was nominated for the Lucas Award.
Her work moves at the intersection of several disciplines. Willemarck creates installations, objects, photographs and cinematic works that start from an investigation into human habits and perceptions. She finds inspiration in the everyday. Themes such as life and death, vulnerability, protection, transience, memory and the tangibility of the past form the core of her artistic practice. She explores how these elements can take on new forms and meanings.
In addition to her autonomous practice, Willemarck works as a freelance prop designer, costume designer, set designer and scenographer. She has already worked closely with curators, directors, scenographers and theatre makers, including Christopher Waltz, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui / Eastman, Lucy McRae, Ontroerend Goed, Bruna Hautman and Theatre Arsenal. Between 2020 and 2024, she was a visiting professor at the jewellery design departments of Sint Lucas Antwerp and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp.
Her extensive knowledge of materials and interdisciplinary experience of production processes form the solid foundation of a multifaceted practice in which concept and execution come together seamlessly - both in artistic and applied contexts.
